Gail Baumgarten, CMP has been in the meeting planning industry for over 20 years. As Department Head for a nationally known seminar company, Gail coordinated the development of book sections with attorneys/speakers and produced syllabi for over 6 seminars per month. She handles those responsibilities for over 9 years. She is well versed in working with speakers and deadlines. Gail was responsible for obtaining Continuing Education Units for the attorneys in all 50 states; she is experienced in the preparation of forms necessary to obtain approval for Continuing Education Units.

Gail served as Convention Services Manager for the San Francisco Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, and also as a Senior Marketing Representative for Delta Air Lines.

Gail has also worked with non-profit organizations to produce successful Golf Tournaments, i.e. most recently The Wellness Community, and Southern California Financial Planners. Gail is currently running a monthly golf tournament at Crow Canyon Country Club for its members to play in a “twilight” golf tournament each of the summer months, these tournaments includes prizes and dinner.

Setting up, taking and operating the registration process is Gail strong point. She has been involved with companies/organization for several years were she took registrations, sent confirmation, handled deposits, made name tags and was responsible for the on-site registrations portion of the meeting. For this capacity, Gail carries a Fidelity Bond from Western Surety Company.

Gail was named Meeting Professional of the Second Quarter 2005, by the Meeting Professional International Northern California Chapter. She earned her CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) designation from the Convention Industry Council in January 2001.
